The department logo is a simple design that can narrate the direction of the department and its branches, as well as the integration between engineering application and medical fields.

The logo features a human heart at its center, symbolizing medicine as the optimal form. The clear pulse within the heart extends towards the cogwheel, representing the framework present in the university's logo.

Thus, the design comes in its blue-green color, symbolizing the color of the suits worn by doctors in operating rooms, which will be the department's representative color.

The red color, indicating power and engineering work, complements this beautiful representation of medical engineering in a grand scientific institution, namely the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology.
