Branch overview

 Branch Mission:

The branch aims to bridge the gap between medical sciences and engineering, producing the next generation of biomedical engineers. Additionally, it is essential to focus on research aimed at achieving development and further discoveries in the field of medicine. This is accomplished through the interaction between design and development in the field of medical devices, ultimately translating into real-world applications that serve the community.

Branch Objectives:

1. Training engineers to keep pace with advancements in studies and research in the field of biomedical device engineering, along with providing professional training for medical device engineers.

2. Graduating professional engineers in one or more of the following areas:
- Clinical techniques and devices.
- Product and medical device development.
- Applied scientific research.
- Engineers adept at communicating with the community's needs and integrating towards leadership and management.

Branch Message:

Providing the necessary academic resources to achieve the branch's goals, through supplying the necessary engineering and scientific knowledge base, developing educational methods, and updating curricula. Keeping up with advancements in biomedical device engineering by updating curricula and enhancing research capabilities to find solutions to medical problems through engineering and technical knowledge and tools.
