The Department organized in cooperation with the management of the Iraqi Center for Cancer Research and Medical Genetics, a scientific trip for the third phase of the branch of biochemistry. The trip was attended by MSC. thamir Abboud Abbas and MSC. Inas Saad Mohammed, where the trip dealt with the director of the respected center And science for both sides as well as wandering students in the laboratories of the Center

In appreciation of the efforts exerted by the head of the Biomedical Engineering Department , Dr. Wissam Kazem Hamdan, who is distinguished in the development of curricula and the development of engineering departments in public and private colleges, in addition to the developments in postgraduate studies, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al Essa, His success, conciliation and payment in the service of giving more to our beloved Iraq.

 Dr..Marwan Nafie Ali,head of the e-learning committee in our department, gave an introductory lecture on the use of e-learning in google classroom and how to use it for the purpose of experimenting with the students. The lecture was attended by the respected scientific assistant Dr. Janan Star Khashan and a number of his professors and instructors.

Ph,D. Raed Saleh Jawad has obtained a new patent from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control entitled "Use of a large area of optical fiber for communication systems based on O-OFDM".
