As part of the sports activities and the participation of the department’s students in the football tournament, the tournament was concluded in the presence of the administrative assistant, Prof. Dr. Sabah Saad, to hand over the awards to the students and receive the discretionary individual awards presented by the students of the department and the sports official of the Life Medicine Engineering Department, Mr. Walid Natiq

Where the first place was the team (the fifth stage)
The second place was won by the team (third stage).

1- The player (Ziyad Khalifa) from the fifth stage won the (Ideal Player) award.
2- The player (Sajjad Talib) from the fourth stage won the award (top scorer in the tournament).
3- The player (Ali Reda) from the fifth stage won the (Best Player) award.
4- The player (Ahmed Ali) from the fifth stage won the award (Best Goalkeeper).

Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Minerals, under the direct supervision of the Industrial Research and Development Authority and the Honorable President of the University, and under the direct guidance of the Honorable Head of the Department, students of Biomedical Engineering participated in six distinct projects for students and under the supervision of the teaching staff (Ph.D. Wissam Kazem Hamdan-Ph. D. Saad Mahmoud -Ph.D. Alaa Muhammad Daoud - assistant lect. Hossam Yahya) at the Industrial Research and Development Authority exhibition, which was held on Tuesday, 3/14 at nine o'clock in the morning, in the main hall of the Industrial Research and Development Authority.

The department organized a scientific visit under the supervision of Ph.Dr. Ali Jalal Ali, where he accompanied the students of the third stage to the Department of Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy, to get acquainted with the reality of the work of the department. The visit included
Holding an awareness lecture for the students of the department in the Department of Regions and Governorates Affairs, as well as visiting the departments of the Department of Sports Medicine, and knowing the scientific equipment and medical laboratories that are used to treat the injured.
