The Biomedical Engineering department ranks second in the Iraqi University Ranking
Written by عضو ارتباطThe Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology achieved second place among engineering departments in the Iraqi University Ranking for the year 2023.
After our university ranked third in the overall ranking of universities in the Iraqi University Ranking for the year 2023, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the results of the Iraqi ranking of scientific departments in universities. This is in line with its policy to enhance responsiveness to quality requirements, develop the educational environment, and measure institutional performance indicators. The results of this edition, completed by the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Department, include the evaluation of (1875) scientific departments in (95) government and private universities and colleges according to program accreditation criteria by 40%, faculty members by 25%, students by 20%, and international rankings of academic specialties.
In conclusion, we congratulate this achievement, hoping for more success for our department and our university in serving our beloved Iraq.
