Ph.Dr. Sabah Saad Abdul Sahib, participated in a master's discussion committee

assistant professor in the Biomedical engineering Department  at the University of Technology, Dr. Sabah Saad Abdul Sahib, participated in a master's discussion committee held at the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Studies/ University of Baghdad, a master's thesis (Mohammed Khudhair Alwan) and tagged: (Study of antibiotic resistance patterns and the formation of the biomembrane of bacteria isolated from otitis media in children) on the discussion room of the Institute.

The panel consisted of A.M.D. Saif Daoud al-Ahmar/ Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for Graduate Studies / University of Baghdad / President, A.M.D. Abdul Amir Mohammed Ghraib/ Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology For Graduate Studies / University of Baghdad / Member and Supervisor.

The letter aims to study mediating disease as it occurs by many types of pathogenic bacteria and various signs and symptoms, as well as the diagnosis of bacteria using traditional methods such as selective and differential media and biochemical tests in addition to molecular methods. For three types of pathogenic bacteria common in otitis media in children using a chain polymerization reaction.

The results of the study showed that both the aeronic and volatile pseudobacteria were the most common for ages 6-15 years, while younger ages included other bacterial species such as staphylococcus, streptococcus pneumoniae, moraxela, and persistent influenza. according to each of the types mentioned.

This study found that the strongest production of the biomembrane was most common in the germs of the aerad precursors (100%) It is followed by staphylococcus (71.4%).

Two lecturers in the Biomedical Engineering Department obtain a patent on wound healing

The two teachers, Ph.Dr. Karim Hussein Jawad and Ph.Dr. Sabah Saad Abdel-Sahib from the  Biomedical Engineering Department  at the University of Technology, obtained a patent granted to them by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control of the Ministry of Planning in accordance with the provisions of Article (21) of the Patent and Industrial Designs Law No. (65) ) For the year 1970 amended and at the responsibility of the inventor.
The patent included a new method for preparing and characterizing aluminum nanoparticle oxide particles and using them as an antibiotic and for treating wounds within a living body.

 Prof. Dr. Wissam Kadhim Hamdan after assuming the position of presidency of the department, wishing him continued good luck and creativity in his serious career in order to elevate the department in the highest scientific ranks.
The visit of the President of the University of Technology, besides his congratulations, also included honoring the scientific assistant in charge of conducting the work of the former department, Dr. Saad Mahmoud, with an appreciation shield and thanks and appreciation for his great efforts towards assigning him to this task.

lecturer get academic promotion

He congratulated the Department Presidency Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Nafi Ali for obtaining a scientific upgrade as it was aimed at raising the academic level in the department and the university and encouraging faculty members towards scientific research and publishing scientific research in solid international scientific journals.

Lecturer in Biomedical Engineering published scientific research on improving responses to centrifugal casting parameters in a discreet international journa

Dr. Saad Mahmoud Ali, the scientific assistant and in charge of the Head of Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Technology, published a scientific research in International Journal of Engineering, )SCOPUS), entitled " Optimization of Centrifugal Casting Parameters of AlSi Alloy by using the Response Surface Methodology ".
The research was published in Vol. (32) and Issue (11) issued /November. The researcher showed that the process of centrifugal casting is one of the most important branches of advanced casting and considered as the fastest and most economical process to produce high-quality and high-density castings that are used in the manufacture of parts of high-strength medical device, in medical dental industry, gears, in the engine of jet aircraft, cars, jewelry and others.
The research was accomplished through the manufacture of two vertical and horizontal machines for low cost centrifugal casting with key accessories, analysis and improvement of experimental results using statistical software "Expert Design 11" and the Response Surface Methodology (RSM). The results showed better surface quality, increased the used stress values and reduced percentage elongation compared with gravitational casting.

The Biomedical Engineering  Department holds a scientific lecture on the news coverage of the professor's activity in the academic institution:
Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology held a scientific lecture under the title (news coverage of the activity of university professor in the academic institution delivered by assistant teacher Sari Tahsin Rishan amid the presence of a large part of the faculty members in the department.
The lecture resulted in the possibility of employing the activities of the university professor during the academic year, whether from the process of holding scientific lectures or publishing research or participation in seminars and scientific conferences, in addition to receiving many awards, certificates and certificates during his scientific contributions.
The lecture focused on how and the steps to be followed by the university professor by providing the media responsible for the dissemination of activity in the academic institution by sending information as quickly as possible in order to maintain the novelty and value of the news of the professor activity.

The research Abstract

It should be noted that in most countries of the modern world the subsoil belongs to the people (government, state, sovereign) - one of the few, although striking exceptions, is the United States, where some of the subsoil is privatized. The participation of oil producing corporations in the market is usually carried out based on a license for the development of mineral resources, or on the basis of production sharing agreements (PSAs).

The difference between the models of such participation is that in the first case, corporations pay fiscal or fixed cash payments for the use of subsoil resources, in the second, they transfer part of the extracted oil to state ownership [1].

In the Russian Federation, both main mechanisms for the distribution of capital and ownership of oil in the oil and gas market are applied. A similar approach is characteristic of many Western states, although the following global trend is taking place:  in countries, even the most developed, democratic ones, whose socio-economic development largely depends on oil and gas revenues, states seek either to monopolize oil and gas production, or to maximize state participation and control in this area, combining such a task with ensuring the highest possible revenue differential rent at the expense of the state.

scientific training trip to a Romanian

The students of the  Biomedical Engineering Department of at the University of Technology participated in a scientific training trip to a Romanian country, which lasted for a week to develop the students' capabilities in the field of application and use of advanced medical devices in the laboratories of Romanian universities, most notably the Polytechnic University in Bucharest.
The students who participated in the scientific training trip from the Department of Biomedical Engineering were the students Mina  waleed ,  Ibrahim Abdul Jabbar and Ahmed Akram, where the training was within a week on the equipment in the university laboratories, especially in the field of education systems, energy and electronic.
The students expressed their great joy at receiving a warm welcome from Dr. Sabah, Cultural Attaché Officer at the Iraqi Embassy in Romania, on the one hand, as well as their satisfaction with giving them the department and university this precious opportunity, which will be a key reason in the development of their capabilities in practical success between the theoretical and practical side

Prof.Dr Jinan Star Khashan obtained the scientific promotion professorship

The presidency of the Department congratulated Prof. Dr. Janan Star Khashan for obtaining the scientific promotion as it aims to raise the academic level in the department and university and encourage faculty members towards scientific research and publish scientific research in sober scientific journals.
The head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering Prof. Dr. Wissam Kazim Hamdan said that this achievement is in addition to the scientific achievements of our university giving urging steady pace towards development, progress and progress in the service of our dear country.
