Under the patronage of the Head of Departmentt, Ph.Dr. Wissam Kazem Hamdan, within the department’s scientific and introductory activities, a scientific visit was organized for the students of the fifth stage, the Medical Devices Branch, for the morning and evening studies to Ibn Al-Haytham Hospital for Ophthalmology. Dr. Hussain Jamil Mutashar, the Director of the Laboratories Division,. Dr. Ali Jalal, the engineer, Saja Bashir, and Ass.lec. Ali Mahmoud Issa, who in turn accompanied the students on this visit. In turn, the head of the department praised the director of Ibn Al-Haytham Eye Hospital for the great support for students and to facilitate this visit
The visit included receiving students from within the hospital staff, where they provided a detailed explanation of the available medical equipment, how to use it, and how to maintain it. The hospital is one of the largest centers of ophthalmology and surgery that includes multiple departments, including emergency and consulting clinics, in addition to specialized clinics such as the retina clinic, vitreous cutting, and pediatric ophthalmology. Strabismus, glaucoma, corneal diseases and surgery, eye plastic surgery, laser and LASIK correction of refractive errors.

Ayoub Qassem Muhammad - a graduate of Biomedical Engineering - University of Technology - the first batch and owner of the Al-Ibtisam Center and in the presence of the teaching staff of the student section, which was held in the conference hall of the Civil Engineering Department on Tuesday 10-5-2022
The workshop included an introduction to the role of the biomedical engineer in the manufacture of limbs and supports and the latest modern innovations used in their manufacture, and to shed light on the increased bonds of cooperation between the biomedical engineers of the former and new graduates and their effective role in the labor market.

Under the auspices of Ph.Dr. Wissam Kazem Hamdan, in cooperation with the Management of Al Kindi Hospital, the Biomedical engineering Department organized a Scientific visit to Al-Kindi Hospital to the students of the fifth stage medical devices branch to al-Kindi Hospital, where the visit aims to introduce students to the available medical devices, including surgical instruments, catheters and biosensors for lack of availability in our department. Professors accompanying the field visit Asst.lec.saad mahmood sarhan and Asst.lec.Ali mahmod sarhan and Eng.saja basher , the visiting delegation was received by an engineering staff specialized in the equipment where they accompanied the students in field tours to see the departments of the hospital, the most important of which is the department of radiation and medical imaging where he briefed the students on the device of spiral detachment and MRI and the radiology and cardiac planning and in conclusion benefited students from the scientific visit where they were briefed on the medical devices and the way they work and maintain them and link the academic theoretical aspect to the practical practical aspect of application through coexistence with the reality of the situation in the health sectors and institutions

titled " Enhanced Mechanical Property of acrylic polymer/Graphene/Carbon fibers Hybrid for Water Proof Coating"
In this study, the polymeric plate was expanded by nanomaterials (graphene) and polymer-cut polymer fibres. The mixture of polymeric hybrid coatings was prepared from a mixture (acrylic polymer/graphene/cut green carbon) using the lab-temperature casting method. The nanomaterials mixture was prepared using different proportions 0.25, 0.5, 1, and 2% g and 0.25, 0.5, 1, and 2% Gr/5% CF, and then U prepared in a glass vessel on a magnetic stirrer at laboratory temperature for 2 minutes. One hour. The throat was left for 24 hours at laboratory temperature. The scans produced were performed with 1wt%Gr and 1wt%Gr/CF. Impact strength of acrylic polymer with increasing Gr as weight ratio of Gr and impact strength of acrylic polymer with composites of Gr and Gr & CF combined with Gr at 1 wt. & CF by 5% Content. The tensile strength increases further than that of the acrylic polymer with Gr, Gr & CF composites combined with Gr at 0.5 wt% and CF at 5% wt. The pulling strength of the polymer with Gr and CF was greater than that of the acrylic polymer coating. And acrylic polymer coating with Gr. The pulling strength increases with increasing weight percentage, pest percentage is 2% by weight.

Then it focuses on the role of cloud played in health care sector to saving life’s during COIVED -19. Not only for people who have been infected but also for assisting other older people to get their treatment. Chapter one: It includes the interaction of chemical with fatigue in metals, especially aluminum alloys, mostly used in the aircraft industry, and gives a practical idea of the extent to which chemical corrosion affects the resistance and lifespan of fatigue.
The second chapter: includes methods for improving the surfaces of metals subjected to the interference of chemical erosion, and these methods include lamination by pellets, ultrasound and
Chapter Three: It includes the accumulation of fatigue when the chemical fatigue wears overlap and the extent of the effect of the chemical corrosion of surfaces on the resistance and lifespan of the cumulative fatigue.
The fourth chapter: includes the use of nanotechnology (adding nanomaterials) to alloys subject to chemical corrosion corrosion and the impact of improving the fatigue specifications at this interference, wishing them more success and prosperitylaser technology.
