Firstly, the Vice President welcomed the meeting with Ph.Dr. Ali Jalal Ali

Some issues related to academic and trade union affairs were discussed, the most important of which are:

The negative impact that social networking sites play on the status of university professors.
Discussing the mechanism for representing the union in the councils of public and private colleges and universities.
Activating investment projects for academic advancement in the future.
He also touched on the issue of lands that belong to teaching staff at our university.
In which a proposal will be written and delivered to the teaching representative of the University of Technology.

 

Ph.Dr. Marwan Nafi Ali, a lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering

 participated Joint field supervisor for a doctoral student in the specialty of dentistry (Suhayb Fadel Muhammad Al-Karbouli) at USM University Malaysia

As this university is considered one of the most prestigious universities in the world, it ranks 137th globally according to the QS classification and ranks sixth in Asia.

This is another success added to the series of successes of biomedical engineering teachers, wishing him more scientific brilliance.

 

Ph.Dr.  Ali Jalal Ali, a lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, obtained a letter of thanks and appreciation from the President of the University,  Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghaban.

This is due to his efforts and hard work that helped the University of Technology obtain third place in the results of the Iraqi classification of universities, 2023 edition.

We wish him continued scientific and professional giving in service to our prestigious university.

 

 

 

 

The  Biomedical Engineering  Department, headed by the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Kazem Hamdan, holds a workshop on implementing the Bologna System

It was presented by the Scientific Associate, Professor Dr. Jinan Sattar Khashan, and the members of the Bologna Track Committee in the department

With the participation and presence of the first-stage teaching staff, the workshop included explaining and clarifying the activation of each teaching profile and the method of managing the electronic class, which is considered part of the program’s requirements. The head of the department stressed the necessity of uniting all efforts to overcome the difficulties for the first-stage students.
